  • If you're ready for an alternative to glasses and/or contacts look to us for co-management of LASIK, cataract, and other ocular surgery. Both Dr. Kao and Dr. Park are TLC Laser Eye Center affiliates who work closely with Dr. Andrew Holzman, the leading corneal surgeon in the DC Metro area.
  • Orthokeratology, or "ortho-k," is the process of reshaping the eye with specially-designed rigid gas permeable contact lenses. The goal of ortho-k is to flatten the front surface of the eye and thereby correct mild to moderate amounts of nearsightedness and astigmatism.
  • We've created our Eye Health Library, a comprehensive library of vision-related information, to help you better understand how your vision works, common eye conditions, surgeries and how your vision changes as you age.
  • This eye disease causes the cornea to grow thinner and bulge forward in an irregular cone-shape. Treatment options range from gas permeable contact lenses to a cornea transplant.
  • Myopia Management LP Thumbnail.jpg
As a child quickly develops and the myopia rapidly progresses, the child is at a higher risk of developing dangerous eye diseases later in life, such as retinal detachment, macular degeneration, glaucoma and cataracts. Learn how myopia management can help.
  • What are Scleral Lenses Thumbnail.jpg
People with various corneal conditions can see clearly once again by wearing scleral lenses. Those who couldn’t wear contact lenses due to eye conditions or discomfort are able to correct their vision safely & successfully.
