Dr. Bae is originally from the Hampton Roads area, so she is still exploring Northern Virginia, but is excited to bring quality eye care as if it were her hometown. After graduating from VCU, she moved to Tennessee where she completed her doctorate training at the Southern College of Optometry. During her time at SCO, she completed her clinical rotations in Kentucky and California, and it was in California that she found her love for private practice, because it allows her to get personal with patients and truly build relationships that are lasting!
Dr. Bae is passionate about serving underserved communities and has participated in multiple service trips to Central and South American countries to provide essential eye care that they might not have received otherwise. She also has a passion for myopia management, being very near-sighted herself, and hopes to help children with their vision needs to better set them up for their future.
When she’s not in the clinic, you can catch her volunteering at church or in a cafe with friends!
